Happy Halloween. Um, love my costume! So happy I teach and have an excuse to do this. I wasn’t sure about this year with all of us online. However I have been stressing that it is important to take care of our mental health, so I went for it.
Super happy I did, it’s been a hell of a couple of weeks. Not with my classes, my students are fabu! But some other things have really challenged me.
Now where did that darn rabbit go?
I don’t think I have mentioned it here at all, but for the past six months or so I have been teaching myself to draw. I am mainly a math teacher though I do teach one period of 3d art. We make stuff old school style with paper mache and such. Anywho with all of our instruction online now, we can’t exactly do any of that anymore. Thus we are drawing. Which I have never felt very good at. But I’m starting to improve!
Oh and as well, sorry for my massive major absences from this space. With being online ALL day long with Zooms and my students, I find that when I get home I am just SO done with computers. Often my laptop doesn’t even make it out of my bag, lol!
Love you tons!
Love yourselves!
Love learning!
Oh btw, did you know that Lewis Carroll was a mathematician?

Cool costume. Given Carroll’s background, does that explain the puzzles and playing cards in the book?
