In the middle of March will come my next vacation – Spring Break baby!!! Where will I be headed? Mexico? Bahamas? Hawaii? Palm Springs even? Ha! No. I will be spending my spring break vacation inside of college classrooms trying to help educate about what it is to be transgender. At heart I am an educator, so yeah, even during my vacation I will try and put forth my smallish efforts to help support both my transgender community and my super conservative Central Valley community.

I offer my speaking services to anyone free of charge, however one of the above events is paying me! Wow! Not a huge sum, but something worthwhile. And that is pretty frickin crazy! I told the person that it was not necessary, but they insisted telling me that they will pay all of their presenters well. Okay then, I will gladly accept any money anyone is willing to give me, so thanks!
A year ago is when I did my very first one woman show, my first speech in a college classroom. I think I may have kicked things up a notch or two. This is probably my limit. I am not sure if I could fit more into this week if I wanted to. As it was I had to turn down one or two professors who wanted me in their classes. But schedules conflicted and it didn’t quite work.
Alrighty lovelies! If you would like to see me speak, I am sure I could get you access to one of the classes as an observer or something. Just reach out, let me know where you would like to see me, and I will contact the professor to see if we can work something out.
Love you!
Love yourselves!
Love educating!
