I took one of my favorite skirts, not this one, to a local dry cleaner and they destroyed it! I didn’t even notice when I picked up the clothes, and they didn’t say anything. I wore the skirt before I ever even noticed that there was anything wrong. But when I did noticed, I couldn’t unsee it. The skirt had been this beautiful white and black ombre midi skirt. I purchased it years ago from Banana Republic and I loved it. But the damn dry cleaner made it look like someone dumped bleach on it. It had a huge bleached out spot on that was unavoidable. I was so bummed!

As a result I searched online all over for a replacement and this beautiful one caught my eye. But I was a little unsure as it is pretty pricey and I had to have it shipped from Great Britain. I don’t think I’ve ever stepped out so much for an item of clothing but I seriously had to have it. Strangely enough I now understand how strongly I was using a variety of things, like clothing, to help assist me in my daily struggles against my gender dysphoria. Huh, the things you learn!

Anywho, I took the leap and bought the skirt and I love it! It is super high quality and it has quickly become one of my all time favorite pieces in my closet.
